This last Friday a beanie was the featured pattern in the Stitch 'n' Bitch 2007 Calendar. Of course I was taken with the beautiful yarn (Lion Landscapes http://cache.lionbrand.com/yarns/Landscapes.htm) and stopped to get some on my way home to snuggle under blankets during the winter storm this weekend.
It only took about 6 hrs (would of been less if I was more proficient in the ssk!) and I finished it. It's my new favorite item..but every thing I actually finish is my favorite! :)

The pattern incorporates 4 lace hearts. Then you use a complimentary yarn to show off the lace pattern.
