Oh Garn Studio, what was I without you??

I am truly enamoured with Garn Studio! How did I not know about their wonderful patterns??

After I finished up 130-1, my hubby developed sweater envy and wanted to know when I would be making something for him. I directed him to the Garn website and had him pick out a pattern that he liked.

He selected 85-20 (gotta love those super descriptive names!). I bought Cascade 220 in Robin's Egg Blue this past Thursday and already have half of the front done. I told him the sweater would be part of his Christmas present, but with the way I'm truckin' along, it will definitely be done before that!

Goodbye Odd Shaped Socks

Ah...these socks have been frogged... and CASTED ON AGAIN!

This time with an actual pattern to follow, and this time top down. I'm using the Mock Wave Cable Socks from Favorite Socks book this time. Still doing two at a time with magic loop, so we'll see how it goes! Only 2 rows so far.

Drops 103-1

Everyone who says this jacket can be knit up in less than 7 days (ahem! Pamela at Flint Knits and Nicole at heyawesome...) is just a way faster knitter than I'll ever be!

But two weeks isn't bad to get a brand new jacket! It's my new jacket until it gets really cold around here.

I used Rowan Little Big Wool and it's very snuggly. Exactly what I need around the house and at work until the heaters really get going!

Ahh...my feet are sooo toasty!

Or maybe that warm feeling is just the joy of having my first pair of socks done!

Okay, it took me forever... mostly because I would set them aside because of all of the k2, p2....

But they're here and so comfty! And perfect timing! I just got a new pair of Birkenstocks that they're looking fab with!

I'm sooo inspired to hurry up and finish my turquoise socks now!

Wahoo!

I survived the entire 13.1 miles :) ....now back to finishing up my jacket!

Half of a Half
